Finding a Toastmasters Club
With almost 200 clubs in Distirct 36, there is sure to be one that matches your location, schedule, and goals. The best way to discover where clubs meet and when is to visit the Toastmasters International Web site and use the Club Locator tool. You can seach by zip code, day and time of a meeting, or even an address. You might even discover your business or agency sponsors a club!
Once you have found a club or two that interest you, use the contact information provided to arrange for a visit. You can also use our Club Directory Page to view clubs organized by Division and Area. Use the info link to find club contact information. Each Toastmasters club has its own "culture" and history. Some clubs are formal, some informal. Some are business oriented, some are community based, and some are focused on a theme like humor or competing in speech contests. Be sure to visit a few different clubs to find one that you like! Visiting is free and there is no obligation to join after a visit.
District 36 is one of 82 Toastmasters Districts World-wide. District 36 has approximately 200 Toastmasters Clubs. Our borders include the Northeast and Northwest quadrants of Washington D.C., all of Montgomery County, Maryland, and part of Prince George's County, Maryland north of a line extended from the north-south dividing line of Washington D.C., eastward along East Capitol Street and Central Avenue to the county's eastern border.
