The Smedley Award
In honor of the founder of Toastmasters International, Ralph C. Smedley, August and September are the Smedley membership campaign months. Clubs adding five new, dual or reinstated members during the months of August and September will receive the Ralph Smedley Award banner ribbon. Winning clubs may also select one module from The Better Speaker Series, The Successful Club Series, or The Leadership Excellence Series. Here is a brief biography of Mr. Smedley.
