Looking for someone to speak at your next special event or monthly meeting? The Toastmasters District 36 Speakers Bureau can help! We provide speakers free of charge to local schools, churches, businesses, civic groups, social clubs and other community organizations. Our mission is to promote communication and leadership skills by providing presentations and educational programs to serve the community while showcasing and promoting the benefits of the Toastmasters program.
Speakers Bureau members are experienced Toastmasters who volunteer their time and share their expertise – on a wide variety of topics – with interested groups and organizations. Speakers are available for both day and evening engagements, depending on their individual schedules. Presentations vary in length and style, but many include a 30-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer period. Some lectures include PowerPoint slides.
Our Bureau maintains a central, coordinated source for speakers available to the community and for other Toastmasters events when required. All speakers in the bureau have successfully completed a rigorous application process, and have finished the basic Toastmasters program. Many have achieved advanced designations.
