The District 36 Toastmasters Speakers Bureau Mission

is to make effective communication a world-wide reality, beginning here and now.

The Speakers Bureau upholds the policies and standards of District 36 and Toastmasters International. Our Toastmaster Speakers provide speeches and educational modules that promote the practices and showcase the benefits the Toastmaster program.

Three Tiers of Speakers Bureau Services and Speakers

Dynamic Toastmasters Speakers - Speeches and Educational Modules for Toastmasters:
- Speeches and educational modules specifically designed for Toastmaster Clubs and groups interested in Toastmaster programs and clubs.
Specialty Toastmaster Speakers - Specialty Topics and Special Occasions Speeches:
- Speeches for groups and organizations on specific or for special occasions that also serve to showcase Toastmaster practices for effective communication and leadership;
Prestige Toastmaster Speakers - Prestige and Specialty Speeches
- Inspirational, motivational and specialty for organizations that also showcase Toastmaster communication and leadership programs and practices.

Toastmaster Speaker Qualifications

be an experienced, skilled Toastmaster and a member in good standing of a District 36 Club
have obtained Competent Communicator (CC) and Competent Leader (CL) Awards
have experience competing in Toastmaster Contests above Club level
have experience serving as a Toastmaster Club Officer
be willing to be evaluated and report to the Speakers Bureau on assignments
maintain their Speaker qualifications with the Speakers Bureau

Speaking Engagements Policies

When representing District 36 and the Speakers Bureau, Toastmaster Speakers shall:

acknowledge representation of Toastmasters and District 36 programs and practices
ensure that every speech is free of any commercial, sales or promotions.
not charge fees, commissions or contractual payments for services but may accept a meal, modest gifts, an honorarium and/or remuneration for expenses.
provide description and contact information related to each service and report back to the Speakers Bureau after each engagement
request a formal evaluation and submit this evaluation to the Speakers Bureau.
